Vycon Construction is the vision, passion and determination of its founder, Coenie de Bruyn. Vycon had its origin in 1988, when Coenie, on hands and knees, restored old timber floors, fit carpeting and laid Vinyl flooring, under the guidance of his grandfather, the late Jimmy Goodwin of Aloe Flooring and Carpeting.

Adding value to the client remained Coenie’s vision over the years and inspires him till today, to deliver quality workmanship. These attributes proved sustainable as he endured several economic and political conditions in SA and still today is driven by his spirit of persistence to acquire adequate knowledge in the construction field, constantly pushing the boundaries of quality to achieve harmony between people and the space in which they live and work.
